While I was clicking my way through the web, I accidentally came across Britney Spears’ website. I was quite surprised how Britney responded to her exposed crotch shots.
Note that Britney doesn’t even regret a thing and tries to be funny on top of it. Oh! By the way, I’m really scared right now, because she mentioned that she’s just getting started.
This is what she wrote on the start page:
It’s been so long since I’ve been out on the town with friends. It’s also been 2 years since I’ve even celebrated my birthday. Every move I make at this point has been magnified more than I expected, and I probably did take my new found freedom a little too far. Anyway, thank God for Victoria’s Secrets’ new underwear line! I look forward to a new year, new music and a new me.

James Kim found Dead in Oregon December 7, 2006

There is sorrow for the Kim family – James Kim did not survive alone in the snowy wilderness of Oregon.
James Kim’s body has been found and he will be transported to a location undisclosed for now, according to police. The 35-year-old CNET editor had been missing for eleven days.
His 30-year-old wife, Kati Kim, and daughters Penelope, 4 years old, and Sabine, 7 months, were rescued on Monday. The family survived by using the car heater, and when they ran out of gas, they burnt the car tires. As there was no food or water in the car, Kati breastfed both daughters.
James left Saturday morning to seek help and was not seen again. Kati and the girls were found by a private helicopter and transported to hospital immediately. They did not suffer any serious injuries.
The search for James continued as rescue teams scrutinized the whole region. Late this afternoon various items were found, belonging to James, supposedly a left as a trail to help searchers.
The Kim family had traveled to Seattle to spend Thanksgiving but got lost on their return, eventually finding themselves stranded in Southern Oregon wilderness. The region has had sub-freezing temperatures over the last period.
County Undersheriff Brian Anderson has called the bereaved Kim family “true champions” during a press conference. “We just want them to know our prayers have been with them from day one.”
Our thoughts go out to mother and young girls and to all those who care for James and shall miss him. Rest in peace, James.

Our friend and co-worker, James Kim, is missing along with his family. The 35-year-old Kim, his 30-year-old wife Kati and daughters Penelope (4 years) and Sabine (7 months) left their home in San Francisco last week on a road trip to the Pacific Northwest. They were last seen on Saturday, November 25, in Portland, Ore., according to the San Francisco Police Department, which has opened a missing persons’ investigation. They were driving a 2005 silver Saab station wagon with the personalized California license plate “DOESF.”
Those with information about the Kim family’s whereabouts are asked to contact San Francisco police immediately at 415-558-5508 during normal business hours and at 415-553-1071 after-hours. The Portland Police Bureau’s Missing Persons Unit can be reached at 503-823-0446.
Update: As of 9 a.m. PST Friday, investigators said they were narrowing their search to Oregon’s Highway 38 as the family’s most probable route to their destination of Gold Beach. The Kims last spoke to an innkeeper there by phone about five hours before they planned to arrive.

Britney Spears topped the list of the most searched for terms through the Yahoo search engine in 2006.
Yesterday the US net giant announced that more online searches were done to find out about Spears than any other topic or person.
This is Britney’s fifth time topping the list in the six years that Yahoo has been ranking annual search queries. She was beaten into first position by Paris Hilton in 2004.
Other female celebrities that dominated the top 10 overall search list included Shakira, Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton at numbers two, three and five respectively.
The top news story search during the year was the accidental death of Australian crocodile hunter Steve Irwin, followed by the death of the son of former Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith.
I wonder why all these people search for Britney Spears… *lol*

Eddie Murphy and former Spice Girl Melanie Brown may have dated earlier this year, but the actor-comedian is making it clear that he’s not sure if he’s the father of her unborn child.
Murphy, who stars in the upcoming “Dreamgirls” film, was recently asked if he was excited that Brown — known as Scary Spice when she was in the megahit group of the ’90s — was pregnant. She has been photographed recently with an expanding belly.
“So are you happy with her because she’s pregnant with your child?” asks the TV interviewer, apparently referring to Brown.
“Now you’re being presumptuous because we’re not together anymore,” Murphy replies. “And I don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test. You shouldn’t jump to conclusions, sir.“

Word is, former *NSYNC member, Lance Bass and his boyfriend Reichen Lehmkuhl, have broken up after a relationship of almost five months.
According to Cindy Owen, Lance Bass’ publicist, the couple has broken up. News of the announcement supposedly came as a surprise to Reichen, who was unaware that Bass issued a statement.
The beginning of the relationship is linked to Lance Bass’ confirmation of his sexuality earlier this year, in July. He made the announcement on the front cover of People magazine saying “I’m Gay.”
Bass said back then he and Lehmkuhl had been involved for “several” months, adding that they met when Bass hired Lehmkuhl as a real estate agent. Since then, the men were then seen together at a number of show business events, including a visit to the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
Before the announcement came out, there have been many speculations regarding his sexuality due to paparazzi snapshots with him and openly gay Lehmkuhl.
The former boy-band member insisted he hadn’t previously disclosed his sexuality so it wouldn’t affect *NSYNC’s popularity.
“The thing is, I’m not ashamed, that’s the one thing I want to say,” Bass told the magazine. “I don’t think it’s wrong, I’m not devastated going through this. I’m more liberated and happy than I’ve been my whole life.”
His boyfriend seemed to be very pleased with his decision to go public about his orientation and showed him a lot of support. “I’m just really proud of Lance and the decision he made,” he told People. “He did it all on his own and I just stood by and supported him. It’s just been great.”
Recently, Bass was spotted without his partner over the weekend at VH1’s Big in ‘06 Awards and when he was asked during an interview if he was going to spend the holidays with Lehmkuhl he replied sharply: “I don’t know. A lot can happen in three weeks.”
According to Perez Hilton’s blog, their decision has been “mutual” one. “They had been fighting a lot lately,” says an unnamed Hilton source. “They tried a lot of things to make it work – even opening up the relationship – but they would just fight all the time towards the end. It wasn’t working.”
In recent months, “How I Met Your Mother” actor Neil Patrick Harris and “Grey’s Anatomy” co-star T.R. Knight also willingly came out to dispel rumors. Lehmkuhl called this phenomenon getting “lanced.”

Lindsay confessed: “It’s true. You always want what you can’t have. It’s alluring. But it does come back to bite you in the ass. It’s happened to me.” The 20-year-old actress currently has feelings for a man who is getting back with his ex.

You can put those rumors of a feud on the set of Dreamgirls to rest. Beyoncé Knowles says that she and her co-star Jennifer Hudson, of American Idol fame, didn’t have bad blood while filming the movie.
“I knew that the character that I played wasn’t the star,” Knowles, 25, told reporters on Saturday about knowing full well that her Diana Ross-esque role of Deena Jones was less meaty than Hudson’s part as Effie White – a part that is already getting Hudson Oscar buzz. “She wasn’t the underdog. She didn’t have the struggle and the pain and the dramatic scenes that Effie had, and I was fine with that.”
Taking the role was about proving herself as an actress. “I’m already a star. I already have nine Grammys. Everyone knows I can sing,” she said. “I did this because I wanted people to know that I can act and I can play someone so different from myself.”
So, what about the rumors of jealousy towards Hudson? “It’s really unfortunate that everyone is saying I’m jealous of Jennifer. It hurts my heart because it’s so clichéd.… They’re saying that I’m mad when I knew going into this that I was playing Deena,” said Knowles. “Because I’m a star they just automatically assume that I’m not humble enough to sit down and take a back seat, which I am.”
But the R&B star did admit that she would have liked to have sung Effie’s song, “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going,” a showstopper that, in large part, helped get Jennifer Holliday a Tony Award for best actress for the original 1981 Broadway version of Dreamgirls.
“I mean,” said Knowles, “I wish I could’ve gained 20 pounds and played Effie.”
Asked if she’d really have packed on the weight for the part, Knowles said, “Yes. I absolutely would have, but Bill (Condon, the movie’s writer-director) didn’t even believe that I could be Deena. So imagine if I would’ve said, ‘Bill, I want to be Effie.’ “
And Knowles has high praise for Hudson’s portrayal of Effie. “Jennifer Hudson had such a pressure, first of all, never being in a film and never have done an album and still having to live up to those expectations,” said Knowles. “She did incredible.”
